Description

Snowbow is a well-crafted 57ft traditional narrowboat built by the respected Steve Hudson. With its distinctive build quality (Steel 15/6/5/4) and thoughtful layout, this vessel blends classic character with modern comforts—making it an ideal liveaboard or long-term cruising companion. Moored in Staffordshire and recently blacked in 2025, she’s ready for her next adventure, with a valid BSC through to 2028.

Step aboard and feel at home. The warm sapele wood interior, combined with lino and carpeted floors, creates a cozy, lived-in feel. The well-appointed galley features a Vanette cooker with a separate hob and a 12v fridge/freezer, offering everything you need to prepare meals on the move. The dinette converts easily into a double berth, complementing the fixed double bed to comfortably sleep four.

Snowbow is powered by a reliable Beta 43hp engine, with a PRM gearbox and keel cooling system. She’s also equipped with a Morso Squirrel stove and Eberspacher central heating, ensuring comfort even through colder months. Hot water is supplied via calorifier, immersion, and the Eberspacher system.

Electrically, she’s well-equipped with 12v and 240v systems, a Mastervolt Dakar Combi 1500w inverter, and three solar panels for off-grid peace of mind. With a solid hull, galvanic isolator, and battery monitoring in place, Snowbow is a vessel designed for those who value practical performance and ease of maintenance.

A pump-out toilet, shower, and vanity basin round out the clean, functional bathroom space. With recent maintenance and thoughtful additions like a cratch cover and side hatch, she’s been clearly cared for and thoughtfully outfitted for real life on the water.

Whether you’re a seasoned boater or setting out for the first time, Snowbow represents a solid, character-filled choice for a new chapter afloat.
