Built with a steel flat-bottomed hull, Aurora features classic narrowboat styling with tongue-and-groove cabin sides, a mix of top-opening windows and portholes, and carpeted flooring throughout. Power comes from a reliable three-cylinder Lister engine with keel cooling, paired with a PRM gearbox, running on diesel with an approximate 40-gallon fuel tank capacity.
You will stay warm and comfortable year-round thanks to solid fuel central heating and hot water supplied by a calorifier and immersion heater, with around 100 gallons of water storage available. The electrical system is fully equipped for both shoreline and off-grid use, including 12-volt and 240-volt supplies, a Victron 900-watt inverter, Victron battery charger, 240 watts of solar panels, and a set of one starter plus four leisure batteries.
The galley comes complete with a Cooker, LEC 12-volt fridge-freezer, with stunning solid wood worktops completed with a ceramic basin. Sleeping arrangements offer plenty of flexibility, with four berths in total: a fixed double bed that extends for extra space, plus a convenient sofa bed for guests or additional family members.
