Manatee is a beautifully presented 50ft traditional narrowboat, expertly constructed by Kenfield / A Roberts. Built to a classic traditional stern design and measuring 50ft in length by 6ft 10in in beam, she offers a thoughtful layout with the bathroom cleverly positioned toward the stern — freeing up a wonderfully spacious and private bedroom area, a feature that sets her apart from many comparable narrowboats.

Powered by a reliable Beta Marine 28hp three-cylinder diesel engine with keel cooling and a PRM 150 gearbox, she delivers dependable performance on the water. Her fuel tank holds approximately 40 gallons, while the water tank has a capacity of around 100 gallons — ideal for extended cruising.

The electrical system offers both 12v and 240v power, supported by a Redi-Line AC to DC, four batteries (1 starter, 3 leisure), and a solar panel to help keep everything charged off-grid.

The well-appointed galley comes equipped with a Vanette cooker and a 12v fridge/freezer from The Fridge People, with durable laminate worktops completing the practical yet homely space. Accommodation provides comfortable sleeping for two in a fixed double bedroom, while the walk-through bathroom at the stern features a pump-out toilet, shower, and vanity basin.
