Description
Elysium is a beautifully appointed widebeam cruiser, built in 2016 by Collingwood with a high-quality fit out by Orchard Marine. Measuring 60ft by 12ft, she offers a spacious and modern floating home with the benefit of a second cabin—perfect for family, guests, or as a flexible office or hobby room.
Powered by a Canaline 52hp engine with PRM gearbox and capacity for the addition of a bow thruster, she is both reliable and easy to handle. Her steel hull (10/6/6/4) and flat bottom construction provide strength and stability, while acacia hardwood flooring, painted ply cabin sides, and spray foam insulation combine durability with a stylish, contemporary finish.
The reverse-layout galley features oak worktops, a Belling oven with four-ring burner, fridge/freezer, and even a slimline dishwasher (which needs plumbing in). Designed with practicality in mind, it flows into the saloon to create an inviting, sociable space.
Accommodation includes three berths across two cabins: a fixed king-size bed in the master, plus a second cabin with a single bed (with room for a small double if preferred). The bathroom offers a shower, vanity basin, and cassette toilet, all complemented by modern fittings.
Heating and hot water come via a multifuel stove with back boiler, linked to a calorifier/immersion system, ensuring year-round comfort. Electrical systems include a Victron Multiplus 3kw inverter, one starter, four leisure batteries, two bow thruster batteries, and four solar panels connected to an Outback Power solar charger—providing excellent off-grid capability.
With a Boat Safety Certificate valid until 2027, blacked in 2023, and a survey carried out in November 2024, Elysium is well-prepared for her next owner. Additional features include a side hatch for extra light and airflow, and a thoughtful reverse layout that enhances the flow of the living space.
Elysium is a superb example of modern widebeam living—offering space, flexibility, and style in equal measure, ready to welcome her next chapter on the waterways.
