Description
Billibarco is an impressive 60ft cruiser stern narrowboat with an enclosed bow, expertly built by Lymm Marine in 2021. Measuring 60ft in length by 6ft 10in in beam, she combines modern build quality with a thoughtful layout designed for comfortable, practical living aboard.
Her steel hull is constructed to a 10/6/5/4 plating specification with a flat bottom, built for strength and longevity. The interior is insulated with sprayfoam for excellent thermal efficiency, finished with ply and light timber cabin sides, warm vinyl flooring throughout, and charming porthole-style windows that lend her a distinctive character while letting in plenty of natural light.
Under power, she is fitted with a robust Canaline 42hp four-cylinder diesel engine with keel cooling and a PRM 150 gearbox, delivering reliable, capable performance on the water. Her fuel tank holds approximately 200 litres, while the fresh water system features a generous 300-litre stainless steel tank — ample supplies for extended cruising.
Warmth and comfort are assured through a comprehensive heating system: a charming Bubble diesel stove serves as a cosy focal point in the saloon, backed up by a Webasto central heating system that also provides hot water via a calorifier, ensuring consistent comfort whatever the season. Her electrical setup is equally impressive, offering both 12v and 240v power managed by a Victron Multiplus 3kW inverter, supported by six batteries — one starter and five leisure — plus twin 300W solar panels with a Victron MPPT controller, galvanic isolator and a standalone Kawasaki generator, making her truly capable of extended off-grid cruising.
The galley is a practical, well-equipped workspace featuring a Statesman cooker and a LEC 240v fridge-freezer, designed to make life aboard easy and enjoyable. Accommodation comfortably sleeps four, arranged with a cross bed plus a versatile sofa bed — perfect for couples or those who regularly welcome guests. The bathroom features a Thetford Porta Potti toilet, shower, vanity basin, and a heated towel rail, adding a welcome touch of luxury to daily life.
Additional highlights include an enclosed bow, two side hatches and a pram cover — all combining to make Billibarco a truly outstanding. She was professionally blacked and underwent a full hull survey in October 2025, giving you complete peace of mind, while her Boat Safety Certificate remains valid until August 2029. She is currently moored in Staffordshire and ready for viewing, offering a wonderful opportunity to acquire a narrowboat finished and equipped to a high standard.
