Description
Introducing Chloe, a beautifully presented 54ft semi-traditional narrowboat built by Pinder in 1990 and tastefully refitted internally in 2012. Combining character, space, and comfort, Chloe offers an inviting home on the water, ideal for continuous cruising or extended stays afloat.
Powered by a Beta 38hp diesel engine with a PRM 120 gearbox, Chloe delivers smooth and efficient cruising. The steel hull is constructed to 10/6/4 plating, and the flat-bottomed design ensures dependable handling on inland waterways.
Step aboard via the semi-traditional stern, leading into a thoughtfully arranged interior finished in warm wooden tones and veneer panelling. The open-plan saloon provides generous space with potential to add additional berths if required. Heating and hot water are supplied via a calorifier/immersion system, Warme electric heater, and a Hobbit multifuel stove, ensuring year-round comfort.
The galley is equipped with a Smeg hob, CDF oven and grill, and 240v fridge, complemented by solid wood worktops for a stylish yet practical cooking area.
Accommodation comprises two single berths that convert into a comfortable double bed, offering sleeping space for two, with potential for further berths in the saloon. The walkthrough bathroom includes a cassette toilet, shower, and vanity basin for convenience.
Chloe benefits from a comprehensive electrical setup, including both 12v and 240v systems, a 2kw inverter, 1 starter battery, 3 leisure batteries, 495w of solar panels, and a galvanic isolator, making her well-suited for off-grid living.
Additional features include double-glazed windows, a side hatch, and a tonneau cover. The vessel underwent a 2-pack blacking in September 2023 and holds a Boat Safety Certificate valid until 2027, providing peace of mind for her next owner.
