Introducing Wright Away, an impressive 50ft Trad built by Dunston. With a Gardener 2LW engine teamed with a PRM 260 D2 gear box housed in an engine room. Hot water is provided by a calorifier/immersion with central heating from the bubble diesel stove back boiler nestled into the saloon, as a bonus there is a stove within the boatman’s cabin to the stern too.

Wright Away’s electrical system has been significantly upgraded to the latest technology, enhancing the onboard comfort, efficiency, and safety of the vessel. Incorporating modern Victron components and a high-capacity lithium battery creates a powerful and intelligent energy system. These include: Victron Multiplus 3kw inverter/charger as well as a backup Victron 1200w Inverter, Victron isolation transformer, Server GX remote control, Victron Orion DC2DC charger and Victron lynx distributor 1000 DC. Together, these components create a robust, safe, and intelligent electrical system. Power management becomes intuitive, energy usage is optimised, and the narrowboat becomes more self-sufficient and comfortable—whether cruising off-grid or moored with shore power.

Within the galley we can find a Wallace diesel hob & oven, Belfast sink and 12v fridge. Accommodation for two is available with a fixed double bed and potential for additional berths within the saloon if required. The walkthrough bathroom is home to a cassette toilet, shower and vanity basin complete with a heated towel rail.

Wright Away comes complete with a BSC valid until 2027, a full survey completed in 2024 and having been blacked in 2022. As a gas free boat there is a separate fuel tank for the stove and oven. Cratch cover.
