Description

Meander is a beautifully built 60ft Semi-Trad narrowboat, built and fitted out by the renowned Amber Boats. Designed with family cruising in mind, she offers generous accommodation with 7 berths – including a fixed double bed, a second cabin with 3 single bunks, and a convertible double in the saloon.

Inside, you’ll find a bright, modern, and practical layout starting at the bow saloon, which features comfy L-shaped seating (that converts to a double bed) and built-in storage. The well-equipped galley includes a 12v Shoreline fridge, Spinflo cooker, microwave, and plenty of cupboard space – ideal for preparing meals on the move.

Mid-boat, the second cabin is fitted with 3 single bunks and a wardrobe. If not needed for sleeping, the top bunk can double up as extra storage space.

The walkthrough bathroom separates the two sleeping areas and offers a large shower, Tecma pump-out toilet, and a vanity basin.

At the stern, the main bedroom features a fixed double bed. A bulkhead separates this space from the rear steps, providing a practical area for coat and shoe storage.

Propulsion & Systems:

  • Barrus Shire 40hp engine paired with a PRM 1:50 gearbox – reliable and smooth for cruising

  • 12v and 240v landline electrical systems

  • Sterling 2500w inverter/charger

  • 1 starter and 4 leisure batteries (all new as of May 2024)

  • Hot water via calorifier, immersion, and Webasto diesel heater
