Meet Elthorne, a charming 51ft traditional narrowboat built by Colecraft. With a warm, character-filled interior and a solid build, she’s perfectly suited for relaxed cruising or comfortable liveaboard life.

Powered by a dependable Thornycroft 1.8 diesel engine and featuring a traditional stern, Elthorne blends classic style with proven reliability. Her steel hull (10/6/4) and flat-bottomed design speak to Colecraft’s trusted craftsmanship.

Heating is supplied by a Webasto system (new in 2023) and a Morso Squirrel stove. Hot water comes via calorifier, immersion, or Webasto, and she carries a generous 120-gallon water tank. Elthorne also benefits from solar panels (approx. 600W), a 1500w inverter, 12v/240v electrics, and a robust battery setup.

Inside, tongue & groove finishes and a mix of carpet and vinyl flooring create a cosy, practical space. She offers a well-equipped galley with a Vanette hob, Shoreline 12v fridge/freezer, and a twin tub washing machine. Along with four berths—a fixed double bed and a sofa bed. The bathroom includes a cassette toilet, shower, and vanity basin.
